When I bought my house I had a glorious tree in front.  One morning about two years ago, I came home from work to find that they had cut it down without telling me.  In retrospect, that was probably a good thing, seeing as it was a cotton wood tree, and I am extremely allergic to cottonwoods.

Due to a combination of factors (mold, cat pee, cat poop, and sheer ugliness), I redid the floor in the entryway of my house, pretty much all by myself.  
The original floor was a nasty ass parquet tile from the early 80s.  There was mold, and cat pee of old, which caused Pumpkin to cover it with cat pee of new.  Gross.  Something had to be done.   ( Read more... )

I painted my icky dingy garage on Saturday.  It's so much better.  Being productive is awesome... or it inhibits me from having to think and feel deeply... which can also be good sometimes...
